Award nominated blogger, content creator & activist

Hello, welcome to my blog. The hub of everything me. Let me introduce myself. I’m a 19-year-old content creator turned activist from Sussex. I started this site 5 years ago when I was just 14 to share the music I was enjoying. Since then it’s grown and while I’ve shifted to creating content for my social media accounts recently having worked with brands including Adobe, HMV and Shpock the blog is still very much my passion.

In 2018 I published 3 editions of my print magazine ‘Into The Grooves’ with all content written by young aspiring music journalists. In August of 2019 as part of ITG we hosted a charity gig with an all-female lineup to raise money for the My Body Back charity which assists women in their recovery from rape.

In February of 2020, a tweet of mine highlighting the lack of women on the Reading and Leeds lineup went viral reaching over 2.5 million people. This gathered national press attention and was a total game-changer for me. Since then I’ve had the opportunity to appear on Talk Radio, Soho Radio, Talk radio, BBC Radio reading and others to discuss the topic of female representation in the music industry.

Earlier this year I started the ‘Artists Against Harassment’ project that encourages bands and artists to share an image of them holding a piece of paper with the slogan ‘Not at my gig’ as a stance against sexual assault at gigs.

This spawned into the ides of starting my very own charity ‘Vibe Excel’ that would fund young girls music education in schools, this is still very much in its early stages but I’ve got big hopes for it.

Make sure to follow me on social media to stay up to date with everything I’ve got coming up.
